Mark S. McNeil is an experienced attorney in general international practice as sole proprietor of McNeil Global Law LLC. He advises businesses in the fields of international transactions and structures, including licenses, sales, leases, franchises, manufacturing, acquisitions, foreign offices, subsidiaries, joint ventures, agency relationships, distributorships, and others. His background includes several years of in-house legal work at Medtronic, Inc. and supercomputer maker Cray Research, Inc., as international counsel or in related positions and, more recently, over 15 years as the leader of the International Practice at Minneapolis-based law firm Lindquist & Vennum,. He worked with a Japanese law firm and a major Japanese trading company during a lengthy stay as researcher at Kyoto University and he has negotiated contracts in Japan, Korea, China, Western Europe, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, and the Pacific Rim.
