Amanda McDonald has a Customs Broker License (LCB) from US Customs and Border Protection. She is currently working as a Senior Trade Compliance Manager at Belcan Engineering.  At Belcan, she is focused on export classification for ITAR and export regulated products.

Her experience over the past several years has included Senior Broker for a freight forwarder, import/export compliance for a medical device company, C-TPAT management, Import Self Assessment, importer self-filing, ISF Filing, Customs Reconciliation programs, ADD/CVD, Free Trade Agreements, domestic and international agriculture shipments, Letters of Credit, Refrigerated rail & ocean transportation, over dimensional ocean and truck loads, imports and exports management. She has extensive experience monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, evaluating domestic and International freight costs and identifying cost saving initiatives.

With her unique background, she has a passion for educating others on Trade Regulations as well as a drive to streamline processes to assist companies in working smarter not harder.
